Request for Contribution of Designs by Jamaican Designers from 1960's to 2000's
The Special Anniversary issue of Panache Jamaica Magazine is currently in development. This collector's edition will highlight 50 years of Jamaica's vibrant fashion industry in recognition of the nation's Golden Jubilee. The issue will be released later this year.
Panache Jamaica Magazine is seeking to feature original works by Jamaican fashion designers including handmade creations, photographs eg. Fashion events, designer portraits, original sketches etc from the 1960's to 2000's.
Submissions of interest are:
- Original handmade designs by Jamaican fashion designers/ designers who had boutiques in Jamaica/ designers in the diaspora of Jamaican descent
-photographs including fashion events, original designs and other photos of interest such as portraits of designers
-original sketches/ portolios of Jamaican designers
Submission Deadline: June 15, 2012
All submissions are subject to verification of authenticity. The original submissions will be returned to their owners. The owners of the submissions selected for the Anniversary issue will be acknowledged. Owners of submissions featured will also receive a complimentary copy of this collector's edition of Panache Jamaica Magazine.
