Orlando Magic guard Chris Duhon married Andrea Hernandez in Durham, North Carolina on August 7, 2010.
The wedding was planned by Audi Brown of Occasions by Audi and took place at the Duke Chapel in front of 350 guests.
The bride arrived at the ceremony in a horse and carriage and was met by her groom at the altar. She wore a wedding dress from House of Botticelli in New York and carried a bouquet of calla lilies, orchids and roses.
The groom wore a tuxedo by Custom Creations.
Among the 14 groomsmen were Duhon’s former teammates Carlos Boozier, Andy Borman, Shawn Dockery, Reggie Love, Andy Means and Jason Williams.
For love ones who could not be in attendance, a private website was set up so they could watch the wedding live on the internet.
Following the ceremony, the newlyweds departed for the reception at the Washington Duke Inn in a vintage convertible.
The cocktail reception was held in the Ambassador room and guests enjoyed red and blue signature drinks, a nod to the couple’s time at rival schools North Carolina State and Duke.
As the newlyweds began their first dance, the groom stopped the track and surprised his bride by announcing their song, “Make Me Whole,” would be performed live by Amel Larrieux.
Dinner followed in a ballroom decorated with hundreds of candles and flowers. The menu included filet mignon and sorbet with a monogrammed shortbread cookie for dessert.
Later in the evening, a seven-tiered wedding cake by Sweet Memories was served along with a groom’s cake that portrayed Chris and his dogs at a poker table.
Following the reception, an after party was set up on the outdoor terrace which featured black and white lounge seating and twinkle lights in the trees.

The bridesmaid bouquets included calla lilies, orchids and roses. "Everything was done in champagne and mocha with a touch of orange and yellow," Brown says.

"The saddest part is you become really close to your clients, you miss them when the wedding is over," Brown says. "All the guests came up and said 'This is the best wedding I've ever been to.' I was walking around thinking I don't want this to end."
